Every Thursday, Investors Business Daily publishes a list of the best ranked 200 stocks. I've manged to duplicate their ranking system using a relative strength scan of the past years growth favoring growth in the recent quarters. I'll tend to favor these stocks in the momentum algorithms as these stocks are highly visible in the investment community. I will not favor these stocks in the rebound and rare signal algorithms.

After a few more revisions of the scanning algorithms, the picks at end of day 9/13/2007 are below. Most of these picks are from the SMA inflection point scan, when the stock prices rises above the 20 day SMA and the 20 day SMA increases at a rate of 5 times more than the previous day's rate. I'll continue to monitor these scans to see if there is a way to narrow down the choices even more:
