Multiple Visitors

Today is the 3rd day in a row that EGY has showed up on the stock scan. It is rare for any symbol to show up in multiple consecutive days. I'm wondering the this stock's momentum will continue for some time. If not, I'll have to analyze the signal metrics to see why it was picked today.

You'll notice that I've add the closing price and the day's low price to the stock listing. I do this because I tend to favor lower price stocks and tend to use the previous day's low as a stop price in early trades. AUXL should have been picked on 9/7/2007 The algorithm has been corrected for this trade. HAL should have been picked on 8/29/2007

** Update, EGY is no longer a selected stock. The performance doesn't seem to be great for stocks that close less than 67% percent away from the range between the high and open price. This criteria is now included for stocks scanned with the pivot low and increase over 20 day SMA criteria. The scan results were revised 9/13/2007
