Price and volume action

Only 7 of the top 20 stocks with the highest percentage gain that had an increase over 5% with a volume twice as great as the 50 day moving average and a price over $5.00 declined in value. The other 13 gained in value more than the 7 lost. I've decided to include these stocks in the scan, a plus sign will preceed the stock symbol if the stock meets this criteria unless the stock was picked with a rare signal, in which an "*" is the preceeding character. I'll see if there is any way to eliminate these stocks that lost value. To reduce the number of picked stocks, I'm only selecting these stocks if they haven't met any other criteria or the volume is three times the 50 day moving average and the price gain is greater than 6% in one day.

Many stocks are picked today, is this a sign of a rebound due to a decrease in value yesterday? CNN claimed this may have been due to profit taking. This may not be a sign of a rebound, it could be just daily volatility in an uncertain market.
