Ureka! A method to rank stock signal performance

I've been puzzled by the stock performance based on technical analysis. Some stocks do well, and some don't, so why bother? Wait, what if there were a way to rank stocks that performed well in relation to the technical analysis signals? Well, sure enough, there is! I decided to compute an efficiency ratio based on the price movements between buy and sell signals. The ratio is simply the ratio of absolute values of (price day signal - price day signal previous) / (sum of daily close price differences between the two dates. When multiple signals occur, I multiple each instance by the number of days between signals and divide the summation of each by the total number of days. I'm limiting the number of days to 60 and only taking stocks with an efficiency rating of 0.3 or better.
