At end of day 8/21/2008:

I am now convinced that high volume trading is not a key market timing indicator and the high volume criteria will be removed from the recommendation selection process. I say this because hedge funds do not require large trading volumes to manipulate the stock price. If manipulate is to strong a wrong, move may be more accurate.

I'm not sure what a good process is for evaluating stocks. Low stock prices may be one indicator, but that alone doesn't tell me if a company's stock is a good value.
